I'm Claus and since 2014 I've been traveling a few weeks a year with a charter catamaran to various areas in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. In the time of Corona, the idea of circumnavigating the world matured.
Due to various events in the private and professional sphere, the idea was implemented faster than expected. In March 2021, I signed my former company’s termination agreement. What was still missing: a catamaran, which I bought after many phone calls around the worldon Multihull.co.ukthen in January 2022. Now I am the proud owner of a Fountain Pajot Lucia 40 berthed in Preveza. Since March I have been busy getting the catamaran ready for the season, gaining experience and getting used to living on a boat for the first few months.
April 2023 the adventure of sailing around the world will start.
